TAD’s
The movement of teeth by applying appropriate pressures is how orthodontists managed to accomplish the goal of treatment. We are ruled, and in many times limited by Mr. Newton physics. TAD's can help us overcome these limitations. TAD stand for temporary anchorage devices. They are in essence a temporary implant used to apply forces to gain movements that are difficult, if not impossible, to achieve by any other means. The TAD's are applied by Dr. Wright under local anesthesia and take approximately one minute to insert. They are needed only in specific situations and are not for every case. They are very useful when difficult circumstances dictate. Dr. Wright is committed to providing the best and most cutting edge solutions in orthodontic care. TAD’s are another example of what can be done beyond brace and Invisalign® in orthodontics.
